Position:
Early Childhood Educator (ECE) - 3
Full Time positions (30-40hours/week)

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education Diploma
  • Registered member of Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators and in good standing
  • Current First Aid/Child CPR
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check (within the last 6 months)

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Able to adhere to program in accordance with the established program statement and program statement implementation policy, and all Jolly Ranchers Daycare policies
  • Experience working with Infants, Toddlers preschool and/or School-Age children
  • Develop and implement childcare program plans that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Teach young children by providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to prepare for school.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and wellbeing of children
  • To establish and maintain an effective work relationship with families, colleagues, service providers, and regulatory program advisors
  • May supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • To promote environment that facilitates and supports staff, students and/or volunteers learning and professional development

Salary:
$19.00-$21.50 per hour

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7AM - 6PM

Ability to commute/relocate:
