Panavision Toronto is looking for a Camera Rental Coordinator to join the team.

This person will perform all duties related to the rental of camera equipment and accessories and provide excellent customer service.

This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all duties related to the rental of equipment; create orders, schedule equipment, respond to customer inquiries and obtain purchase orders.
  • Work closely with the rentals team to ensure correct equipment is scheduled.
  • Oversee and interact with prep techs and crew during all aspects of the camera package prep process.
  • Act as key contact for crews.
  • Resolve equipment conflicts and shortages.
  • Actively and effectively works with other branches/locations to support a PV client or project
  • Arrange for the subhire or branch transfer of equipment needed to support project or client. Ensure Rentals Manager is kept up to date concerning subrented equipment (delivery to PV, date due back at vendor, etc). Manage return of all subhired equipment.
  • Consistently and effectively use all systems that support the rental processes including: PV proprietary inventory tracking, scheduling and invoicing systems.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • A minimum of three years camera equipment experience.
  • Good working knowledge of motion picture camera equipment and accessories.
  • Familiarization with Panavision products and services is an asset.
  • Build and maintain effective team relationships. Strong understanding and appreciation for rental process and your role within it.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation and willing to go the extra mile for both internal and external customers. Exhibits initiative and is proactive on all client and equipment related issues.
  • Able to maintain proper balance between local goals and objectives with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Wellorganized selfstarter with strong followthrough skills and attention to detail. Able to troubleshoot and provide sound, workable solutions when necessary.
  • Industry specific forward facing customer service experience.
  • Able to work and maintain effectiveness under pressure, within tight deadlines and changing priorities.


This is a salaried position and generally works standard business hours but may require longer hours from time to time and occasionally some weekend work.

Some heavy lifting may be required.
