Job Title: Rental Logistics Specialist

About the Role:

The Rental Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in driving efficiencies in rental equipment operations and deliveries. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely completion of deliveries and pickups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch and Support: Utilize dispatch software to ensure timely pickup and delivery of rental assets, and provide ongoing technical guidance to delivery technicians.
  • Equipment Tracking: Coordinate equipment tracking devices, including activation and troubleshooting issues, to ensure accurate status updates.
  • Lost and Stolen Equipment: Provide timely resolution support for lost or stolen equipment, including communication with police, towing companies, customers, and stores.
  • Field Technician Support: Collaborate with Regional Rental Managers to support field technicians and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer delivery reports, vehicle compliance, and Samsara data to inform efficient service strategies.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service, strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Varies, including working outdoors in extreme temperatures and exposure to loud noises.
