The Co-op Student is responsible for assisting with the organization of labels, inventory, and machine documentation. In this role, you will

  • Assist with the organization and maintenance of our inventory system, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize inventory storage and organization for easy access and retrieval.
  • Develop and implement a consistent labeling system for all inventory items, ensuring clear and legible labels for easy identification.
  • Review, update, and maintain machine documentation, including operation manuals, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of a standardized document management system for machine documentation.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding inventory levels, machine status, and documentation updates.
  • Perform regular audits to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of inventoryrelated projects, reorganization, or disposal of obsolete items.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing input and suggestions for process improvements.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and best practices.

Who we're looking for?

  • You are currently enrolled in a relevant postsecondary program, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have strong organizational and timemanagement skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
  • You can work independently and in a team environment, with a proactive and problemsolving attitude.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an asset.
