Job Description

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and executing mechanical maintenance work as part of the preventive/predictive maintenance program for designated equipment.

  • Analyze service requests in terms of scope, duration, required resources, costs, and more
  • Schedule and oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and adjust plans based on production needs
  • Ensure machine availability aligns with operational requirements
  • Plan and execute major shutdowns efficiently, minimizing downtime
  • Guarantee availability of necessary equipment and parts for maintenance activities
  • Support the procurement team in parts sourcing
  • Optimize maintenance work coordination to uphold operational reliability
  • Create task instructions for preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Manage work orders effectively
  • Update maintenance systems with new equipment information
  • Verify completion of all maintenance requests before closing work orders
  • Monitor equipment-related purchases and ensure compliance with requests
  • Participate in equipment issue resolutions and process enhancements
  • Investigate equipment breakdowns and improve mechanical processes
  • Attend team meetings and handle related tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Background in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and computer tools, familiarity with Maximo is advantageous
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
