We are looking for a highly creative storyteller and creator with a social-first and mobile-first view of content.

If you excel at independently building creative visual and written content for the fast-moving social media landscape, we want to hear from you.

The Social Content Creator supports and collaborates with our team on the development of social content.

You are a passionate and creative self-starter who is eager to engage on new projects and thrive on tight timelines.

You have experience working with brands, are a natural storyteller, are expert at spotting social trends, and have a swiss army knife of creative skills that include editing, designing, writing - capturing both still and motion imagery is a plus.


Responsibilities

  • Creating engaging, onbrand, visual content for a variety of social media platforms, including, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for our Social Media content and social initiatives and campaigns.
  • Editing and manipulating both photography and video for the creation of impactful content.
  • Designing or adapting graphics from brand asset libraries or internal creative team guidelines for use in content.
  • Sourcing visual assets, graphic elements, tools and techniques to facilitate timely production techniques.
  • Collaborating with our social media managers to schedule and organize workloads to ensure deadlines are met and to produce consistent, highquality photos and videos.
  • Working with internal teams to gather materials/ information for social media postings
  • Tapping social media trends and themes for integration into content.

Applicant Requirements

  • 35+ years of demonstrating initiative, innovation, and creativity in all major social platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Linkedin.
  • Strong design skills, fluent in both Adobe Creative Suite as well as a diverse range of mobile app video and image processing software, plugins, techniques and approaches.
  • Capable video editing and motion design skills, in both Adobe Premiere but also with a variety of mobile content creation apps
  • Strong writing skills and experience writing social content and blogs, and demonstrated excellence in proofreading and editing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 10 per week

Salary:
$30.00 per hour
