CAD Conversion Drafter


We are looking for an individual who is technically inclined, energetic, productive, and can handle multiple priorities in a timely fashion with a high level of accuracy.


  • Draft technical detailed designs for products using SolidWorks CAD software
  • Resolve and consult with others designers & review managers to correct design problems within engineering
  • Draft technical details including bill of materials, as well as position instructions and comments.
  • Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications
  • Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering Technology or Drafting program
  • Familiarity with reading mechanical drawings and blueprints and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with modelling software, specifically with SolidWorks required. Familiarity with SolidEdge and AutoCAD considered an asset.
  • An understanding of mechanical HVAC equipment, and manufacturing principles.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a high sense of urgency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced, team environment with the added characteristics of multitasking with organization.
