### Job Title: Senior Transportation Engineer

#### About the Role

As a Senior Transportation Engineer at Parsons, you will lead a team of engineers in tackling infrastructure challenges and take your expertise to the next level working on complex projects that make a positive impact on our communities.

#### Key Responsibilities

* Perform complex engineering road and highway tasks efficiently and accurately.
* Extract engineering information from CAD drawings and prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
* Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
* Frequently interface with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
* Serve as a task team lead on small to large design and construction projects, responsible for meeting budget, schedule, and client quality requirements.
* Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
* Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.
* Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
* Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and other Engineers working on the same project.
* May be required to sign and seal documents as the professional Engineer of Record, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.

#### Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and 8+ years of related work experience.
* Registered as Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or eligible for registration, with Canadian provincial engineering regulatory bodies.
* Experience working on City of Winnipeg / City of Calgary / City of Edmonton, Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure, Alberta Transportation, Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, or BC Ministry of Transportation projects is required.
* Proficiency in utilizing OpenRoads Design / MicroStation and/or Civil 3D / AutoCAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute is an asset.
