Position Overview
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University is seeking a Contract Academic Staff member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Department of Diagnostic Radiology based at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH).
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology is renowned for its excellence in both clinical practice and education, with a strong Residency and Fellowship Program attracting trainees globally.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in clinical, teaching, and research activities within the Diagnostic Radiology Department.
- Conduct and interpret various imaging exams including radiography, CT, US, MRI, and others.
- Participate in evening shifts, interventional procedures, and on-call duties.
- Contribute to McGill's academic vision through research, teaching, and administrative responsibilities.
Requirements:
Candidates must:
- Hold an MD degree and be licensed in Quebec.
- Possess subspecialty training in radiology and certification by relevant medical boards.
- Have expertise in cardiac imaging (CT and MRI) and demonstrate excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
- Bilingual skills (French and English) are preferred.
