Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront is looking for a full-time Bell Person

Your primary responsibility is to help create a 4-star service experience for our guests by welcoming guests to the hotel as well as bidding them farewell.

The Bell Person is responsible for escorting guests to and from their accommodations, orienting them with the features of the property and their accommodations, assisting guests in any way to make them feel more comfortable, in accordance with Delta standards.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet all guests upon arrival in a warm and professional manner, make them feel welcome and anticipate their needs before they arise
  • Assist guests in finding parking spaces and directing traffic in the parking lot during peak periods
  • Direct parking lot traffic and guide guests into appropriate parking spaces
  • Prioritize parking spaces for specific vehicle types and advice guests of alternative parking options if applicable
  • Recognize all VIP guests, and welcome back returning guests
  • Courteously assist guests with luggage at arrival and departure
  • Describe to the guest the room amenities and other services offered at our hotel
  • Provide concierge services be familiar with hotel events, services and amenities, local events, restaurants, places of interest, etc.
  • Be aware of daily hotel activities, group, and VIP arrivals. Communicate special guest requests to the Front Office Manager/Manager on Duty
  • Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed
  • All other duties as assigned by management to ensure customer service

The above areas of responsibility are not all inclusive and may be amended from time to time

Important Note:
This is a part-time position. Shifts will be 3 days a week 3pm - 11pm during the winter season. This position will and can become a full time position starting in April, with shifts 5 days a week. Shift times can vary, but will be consistently scheduled late afternoon/early evenings.
