Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Manufacturing Expectation

  • Operate and load and unload a Forklift to transport materials to and from van bodies to assist with the building process
  • Load trailers/trucks so as to achieve maximum space utilization and take off the line as required
  • Oversee storage of all materials including maintenance of the yard and surrounding areas
  • Maintain organization of stored goods
  • Complete forklift circle checks
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safe working procedures
  • Perform other duties, as required.

Major Requirements and Competencies

  • At least 23 years forklift experience preferred, forklift experience loading and unloading flat decks and vans considered to be an asset
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
  • Safety Focused
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
  • Certified in forklifts and cranes operations.
