The Batcher will focus and ensure that:

- Products are manufactured as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and procedures specified on the MBR (Manufacturing Batch Records).
- All tasks assigned are performed in a safe manner to ensure personal safety and the safety of other employees. These include but not limited to: wearing protective masks, goggles, gloves, sleeves and operating equipment safely.
- Raw materials usage follows FIFO (First In First Out) requirements.
- Timely feedback is provided to the Manufacturing Supervisor regarding any delays affecting manufacturing of products.
- All issues affecting or potentially affecting quality of batches are brought to the attention of the manufacturing supervisor.
- Equipment used in the manufacturing department are functioning as expected and any abnormalities in the equipment used (mixing tanks, pumps, forklifts, etc.) are brought to the attention of the production supervisor and facility maintenance department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow GMP and GDP rules at all times when in manufacturing area.
- Receive and review batch formulation sheets for specific instructions.
- Perform checks to verify ingredients are correct and present
- Accurately weigh raw materials as per the Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs).
- Ensure tanks cleaning are performed on a timely manner.
- Mix ingredients according to specific procedures and formula.
- Operate & monitor batching equipment.
- Act as a back-up for the Quality Assurance Inspector in releasing batches.
- Physical Requirements - bending, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all Safe Operating Procedures
- Must wear all PPE and adhere to all safety standards
- Participate in training as require
- Report any accidents, incidents, injuries or illnesses immediately and notifies the Supervisor
- Maintain a tidy and safe workplace at all times
- Report spills, mistakes to Manufacturing Supervisor
- Report faulty and broken equipment to Manufacturing Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned.

Must have:

- Physical strength to perform the required lifting
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and clearly communicate in English.
- Attention to detail
- Above average math skills in mathematical operations involving addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
- Flexibility to be assigned to work in days, afternoons or weekend shifts as necessitated by the business demands.
- Experience in operating a forklift/or a scissor lift; or as a condition of working in this role, be willing to get trained on operating a forklift and a scissor lift.

Rate of Pay will depend on experience

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
