Facilities Planner.

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Trade certificate or college diploma
Experience Required: 2-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrated planning ability for Industrial or Engineering environment
  • Proven ability to operate within a CMMS program with additional experience utilizing MS Office Suite packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross functional departments
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, continuous improvement environment
  • Proven ability to lead and implement safety and regulatory processes and guidelines
  • All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning
  • Plans maintenance activities
  • Develops scope of activity budget and duration
  • Participates in material and equipment ordering
  • Preventative maintenance review process
  • Review preventative maintenance activities to ensure effectiveness
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities:
  • Maintenance work orders
  • Service contracts
  • Shipyard parking
  • Maintenance program improvements
  • Participates in maintenance program improvement initiatives
  • Proposes improvement activities for assigned tasks
  • Key Performance Indicators
  • Completes assigned activities to meet or exceed department key performance indicators
  • Manages daily work order backlog
  • Ensures 4week look ahead planning is complete
