This role will be responsible for resource management within the Internal Audit (IA) function.

This team member, in coordination with the IA Teams, will be responsible for making sure audit engagements are staffed with the right people and at the right time.


This role is a key member of Resource Management team and works closely with key partners in Internal Audit to ensure the smooth running of IA scheduling/resourcing activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with IA stakeholders to optimize resources through scheduling.
  • Provide insightful analysis to highlight risks and opportunities to scheduling/resourcing and provide alternative solutions and recommendations.
  • Escalate unresolved conflicts and resourcing gaps to Chief Auditor & Snr Resource Manager.
  • Review actual and projected utilization, anticipate availability, and proactively take action to decrease unassigned time while balancing the workload of all assigned stake holders.
  • Engage with stakeholders (Audit Owners & Audit Controllers) to understand their needs and to create a trusting partnership.
  • Support strategic initiatives in relation to resource management.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in resource management, business planning and analysis role or similar role
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving keys
  • Proficient in negation and conflict management
  • Client focused. Has a sense of urgency to resolve conflicts
  • Ability to multitask & adapt in a dynamic environment
