Inside the Role

Daimler Truck Financial is looking a Bilingual Discounter to support in meeting acquisition targets. We are looking for someone with keen attention to detail who can work with enthusiasm in a quick-paced environment.

As a Bilingual Discounter, you will work closely with the Funding Team leader, as well as, the Credit and Sales teams to ensure we are thinking of solutions to benefit our dealers.

You will be responsible for reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying contract errors and communicating with dealers to resolve such discrepancies.

Once the file is complete, you will then be required to accurately enter all relative data into the main portfolio system.

What You Drive at DTFS

  • Receive contract documentation and ensure funding in a timely manner. Ensure conditions stipulated on credit commitment letters are fulfilled.
  • When required documentation or information is not received, contact and work with dealership personnel to resolve each issue in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of each assigned territory and generate ideas to improve the service that DTF provides to our dealers and our customers. This would include timely processing of contracts to allow each dealership to be funded and prevent first payment default accounts that can roll into collections.
  • Support Retail Credit Analyst, Customer Service/Collection Representatives and Team Members with questions or issues. Communicate with the Retail Credit Analyst to resolve outstanding contract problems daily.
Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Fluency in written and verbal French required
  • High School Diploma or GED completed
  • 12 years in relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications
  • Extreme attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
