Position Overview

Accommodations Consultants play a crucial role as the initial contact point for potential tenants. Their main tasks include presenting available housing options, addressing inquiries, finalizing agreements by signing leases, and meeting tenants' accommodation needs. They also offer solutions to any issues while upholding the core values of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Tenant Acquisition: Assist in discovering and securing new potential tenants through networking and social media. Constantly carry out market research, collaborate with management on crafting sales strategies, and executing marketing campaigns.
- Customer Education and Engagement: Inform customers about the leasing procedures, guide them through the application and lease completion. Welcome prospective tenants, address their queries about rental properties, and conduct property tours to showcase available units. Ensure that all potential tenants depart with a clear understanding of the property's advantages and rental options, even if they don't sign the lease immediately.
- Tenant Relations: Notify the Leasing Manager of any issues concerning tenant rent payments, property upkeep, lease modifications, or termination notices. Conduct unit inspections as necessary.
- Promotional and Event Participation: Participate in promotional activities and sponsor events, such as distributing flyers and engaging with students.
- Administrative Tasks: Serve as a backup receptionist, handle incoming calls, and direct them to the appropriate department. Assist in collection calls when required. Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant work experience. Previous involvement in sales or customer service roles is essential. Exceptional communication and organizational abilities are a must. Proficiency in social media is highly beneficial. Capability to multitask, attention to detail, and adept problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting are crucial. Approach potential tenants with a positive demeanor. Flexibility in working hours is necessary. Skilled in both independent work and team collaboration. Preference for prior experience in student housing and the rental sector. Capable of leading onsite tours for visitors.
