Unit Summary

Position Summary
  • The Business Clerk role involves providing clerical and receptionist services for various Programs, promoting positive public relations, and effective communication within the hospital and with community health institutions.
Schedule
  • Work Hours: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
Qualifications
  • Completion of Medical Office Administration with Medical Terminology knowledge at the Community College level.
  • Minimum three years of recent secretarial/clerical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated competence in general office procedures, Microsoft Office Suite applications, MIS reporting tools, Meditech, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, effective communication abilities, and flexibility to interact with various clients.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality, code of conduct, and conflict of interest policies.
