Scope for the position:
- Receives and inspects incoming products
Basic function of the position:
- Unloads trucks and inspects goods for any damages and logs inbound POs
- Documents damages and take pictures of damages
- Sort and Receive product using RF scanner or desktop using Oracle
- Transfers goods to storage area to be picked or replenished
- Some heavy lifting required. Ability to lift 50lbs
- Loads outbound orders on common carriers when needed
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unloads trucks, inspect product or skids
- Inspects goods for noncompliance "lot, expiry, damage"
- Verify NHP's match vendor's lists or customs documents
- Completes receiving report
- Keeps receiving area clean and free of debris
- Stocks product in storage area
- Loads outbound customer orders on common carriers on a daily basis
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required qualifications, education, experience, training, skills, background, certifications:
- Grade 12 diploma (OSSD)
- 12 years of previous experience in a similar environment is considered an asset
- Have the ability to multitask in a fast and ever changing environment
- Able to bend, kneel, reach, stand and walk for entire shift
- Able to lift up to 50 LBS on a consistent basis
- Excellent attention to detail
