Mon-Fri (Hybrid)

3 days in office and 2 days at home with some flexibility to work on weekend.

ROLE SUMMARY:


The Social Lead will monitor and manage our online social media platforms, and create content for social media and our e-newsletter that is appropriate and drives measurable results for awareness and engagement.

The SL will bring up-to-date knowledge about current and emerging social media trends and practices to the role and will be expected to constantly remain abreast of best practices to evolve the role, and offer the best possible online experience.

The SL is tasked with mining data and insights for both in the moment as well as long-lead cultural moments, and transforming them into rich consumer insights.


The SL will participate in the execution of Stanley Park Brewing's digital marketing and social plans with a priority focus on digital media, content creation and social media initiatives; and will work closely with the rest of the Marketing & Brewpub teams to coordinate the content strategy and develop assets for use across channels & platforms.

In addition, the SL will support specific projects, research and tasks assigned by General Manager and the Senior Leadership team.

This role will contribute to maintaining and enhancing the culture of our organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This person must be able to work in fastpaced environment, with the ability to take ownership of their work and demonstrate strong abilities to effectively communicate between multiple groups.
  • Act as a frontline ambassador interacting with customers and fans in real time on a range of online platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, and website), to tell the story of Stanley Park Brewing & participate in the conversation
  • Ensure our online community is monitored in a timely and ongoing basis to meet expectations in addition to driving engagement within the context of specific guidelines and rules of engagement
  • Oversee the implementation of the Stanley Park Brewing content strategy across the digital ecosystem which requires a close working relationship with the brewing, marketing, and sales teams
  • Intelligently, strategically and effectively create Facebook posts, Instagram posts, Tweets, photos and videos that are appropriate to global wideranging customers that engage end users and generate business results whilst upholding the Stanley Park Brewing brand values and tone of voice
  • Content development, coordination, and deployment of Stanley Park Brewing's enewsletter
  • Conceive and execute content outlines and calendars that span the lifecycle of ongoing socialmarketing campaigns
  • Use strategic insights to effectively promote content across relevant platforms
  • Create comprehensive and data driven prescheduled or adhoc reports
  • Report on media tactics and provide recommendations to further optimize campaigns, and create actionable insights to inform social media strategy
  • Participation in special events, trade shows and other such promotional activities; including evaluating, planning and implementing promotional activities as deemed necessary
  • Conducts additional project coordination and support duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A University Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications or equivalent combination of training and experience is an asset
  • 2+ years of experience with online community management, analytics and reporting, social content development and support on socialmedia strategy;
