About The Job:

We're seeking a creative and experienced Head of Social/Content to join our team and play a pivotal role in growing both the Built With Science brand and Jeremy's personal brand. If you're passionate about health and fitness, have a knack for creating engaging content, and experienced with building and leading a content team, we'd love to have you on board as we shape the future of the fitness industry

Your Responsibilities (within the first 3-6 months):

  • Create content strategies for rapid growth across all relevant social media platforms (Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Podcasts, etc.)
  • Manage and source content across social platforms in order to develop Jeremy's personal brand and the Built With Science brand
  • Hire, coach, and motivate a high-performing content team who can help execute the strategy (Creative Director, Social Media Manager, Content Writer, etc.)
  • Continuously explore and test new content formats and approaches to engage and grow our audience.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track the success of content initiatives, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Brainstorm new content ideas and topics with Jeremy and the creative team on a weekly basis
  • Report directly to Jeremy (CEO) monthly with performance and strategy updates

Experience

  • 5+ years of proven experience creating, executing, and leading social marketing in a rapid growth environment
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of social media platforms, specifically Youtube, Instagram, TikTok and Podcasts
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • The ability to lead creative teams to produce highly-engaging content
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of social media platforms, specifically Youtube, Instagram, TikTok and Podcasts
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience building a content team from scratch (preferred)
