This is a 2-year contract, with the possibility of extension or transitioning into the business as a Manager, Assurance and Advisory.


THE ROLE
-
Curriculum Development: Lead the creation and continuous improvement of a technical and competency-based learning curriculum tailored for professionals at various stages of their career.

Training Facilitation: Co-facilitate new-start training sessions, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm's culture and work processes. Utilize a variety of training methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.

Ongoing Support and Counseling: Act as the primary point of contact for new hires post-onboarding, offering guidance, support, and counseling to ensure their success and retention within the firm.

Collaboration: Work closely with the L&D Partner, QA Director, and PO Director to align learning and development initiatives with the firm's quality standards and operational requirements. Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure strategic alignment and efficient execution of programs.

Evaluation and Feedback: Implement mechanisms for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and collect feedback from participants to inform continuous improvement efforts.

New Manager Onboarding and Training: Develop and implement an onboarding and training program specifically designed for new managers, whether promoted internally or hired externally. This program should focus on leadership skills, firm policies, and operational procedures to ensure they are well-equipped to lead their teams effectively.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders across the firm to identify learning needs and opportunities for enhancing the professional development of staff. Partner with Practice Leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build a Firm-wide Advisory curriculum using a blend of knowledge-based and skills-based learning outcomes.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Is energized by working with CPA students, learning their stories, and walking with them on their journey.
  • Holds their CPA designation and is a designated accountant.
  • Has prior Assurance, Advisory, and Taxation experience.
  • Has training and experience in developing learning materials for adult learners, including online courses and experiential practices.
  • Has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the CPA journey and how it intersects with business needs at KRP.
  • Has prior experience in performance coaching, whether in accounting, athletics, academics, etc.
  • Is a clear and effective communicator, with a strong service orientation.
  • Provides exceptional mentorship skills as well as developmental and coaching skills, with the ability to help those who are unaccustomed to change.
