The primary mission of the Collections Representative is to monitor customer accounts, provide customer service regarding collection issues, and resolve client discrepancies.
- Responsible for recovering funds on past due accounts.
- Successfully negotiate appropriate payment arrangement terms with customers.
- Maintain positive customer relationships in order to increase customer retention.
- Work with customers to resolve disputes and complaints within company guidelines, while providing excellent customer service.
- Accurately enter and maintain customer records in the billing system.
- Process adjustments and update customer information as required.
- Responsible for departmental objectives for amounts recovered, call quality, and productivity.
- Demonstrate initiative in problem solving and in working with other departments within the organization.
- Responsible for achieving all standard department KPIs, including quality, average handle time, promoting paperless billing, and preauthorized credit card payments.

- Minimum 1year experience in collections or a call center environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Responsive and easily adaptable to change.
- Stronger than intermediate computer literacy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Team player who is goal oriented, objective driven, and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours Monday to Friday within the hours of 8:00am to 8:00pm.
