JOB DESCRIPTION
Hillel Lodge is looking for temporary assistance with basic shipping, receiving, and distribution goods and supplies throughout the building.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promptly and accurately receive and distribute deliveries including food, linens, etc
  • Note and respond to requests for supplies
  • Follow job routines provided by manager
  • Run errands within each neighborhood, such as delivery of newspapers to residents
  • Ensure the privacy, dignity, respect, and confidentiality of the residents.
  • Ensure the Health and Safety of residents, staff, volunteers, and visitors by following safe work practices and proper procedures
  • Any other duties as required that are necessary for the welfare of the residents and the safe and efficient operation of the Home

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Grade 12 High School Education
  • Ability to speak, read, write, count, and follow instructions in English is essential
  • Prior related experience is preferred; however, we will provide training
  • Punctual attendance, dependability

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Majority of time spent standing or walking
  • Frequent reaching, and bending
  • Frequent lifting, pulling, and/or pushing of items over 20 lbs
  • Occasional lifting, pulling, and/or pushing of items over 125 lbs without mechanical means or aids

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

Salary:
$20.69 per hour
