Medcan has a comprehensive range of diagnostic assessments, which, in combination with innovative programs tailored to specific needs, are designed to successfully reach improved health outcomes.


Over 80 physicians and specialists, alongside a broad roster of complementary health care disciplines, provide health and lifestyle management services on site and by video consult for individuals, families and organizations.

Our team of 700+ staff see clients virtually and physically from our downtown Toronto and Oakville clinics.

Account Executive will report into the Director, Business Development on the Corporate Growth team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create detailed quarterly business plans to facilitate the attainment of sales goals and targets
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding net new corporate clients to securing/closing a deal
  • Solutionsbased selling based on the needs of the prospect, and upselling/crossselling products that meet their needs
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking, participating in networking events, social corporate gatherings
  • Present pitch and proposal in person and/or via Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Conduct clinic tours and host lunch and learn meetings
  • Remain in frequent contact with prospects to understand their needs
  • Provide health and employee insights to prospects, always staying abreast of current health and wellness news/trends
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of contracts and records of sales
  • Daily CRM management, active participation in weekly meetings and discussions

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/business role
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • High organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Polished, professional, and strong business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
