ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE


As an Account Executive at Motive you'll have the opportunity to support the integrated day-to-day efforts with key client relationships and accounts.

You'll write briefs, manage projects / timelines and collaborate with creative and other teams, while managing a variety of projects.

You'll lead the charge on a variety of initiatives including traditional, digital, promotional, media, experiential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daytoday efforts with key clients, and the daytoday internal project management flow for highprofile projects for major national brands.
  • Strategically advise clients and develop ideas and solutions that achieve business, marketing and engagement objectives.
  • Translate client assignments into meaningful briefs for the creative teams and effectively balance dual expectations of clients and the agency.
  • Work with art directors, copywriters, experiential, digital and social leads, as well as and other client services teams to ideate and develop concepts for projects and accounts.
  • Multitask and get the work done—on time, within project budgets and exceeding expectations.
  • Participate in big idea thinking sessions for the agency.
  • Acquire indepth knowledge of, and be conversant in, each client's business, industry and competitive landscape.
  • Manage and foster client relationships and communications in an amicable, professional manner.
  • Effectively present strategic and creative platforms to internal and external audiences.
  • 24 years of experience managing integrated work (read: that's a combination of traditional, digital, social media, retail, content, experiential and promotional projects) and accounts in a fastpaced advertising agency.
  • Previous experience working on CPG accounts.
  • Experience working with several client/client teams simultaneously.
  • Experience creating and managing budgets.
  • A thorough understanding of the agency process and agency/client relationship model.
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational prowess.
  • A strong 'selfstarter' mentality and sense of responsibility.
  • A passion for culture, creativity, sports, gaming, art, music and more.

The starting salary for this position is between $55,000 and $70,000 CAD annually, based on experience and the Toronto market. Actual pay may vary._
