What you will do
The HVAC Service Sales Rep plays a crucial role in the growth and success of the HVAC Service business. You will be in charge of establishing profitable service relationships with new customers. Your focus will be on selling renewable maintenance agreements to build these relationships. The chosen candidate will work within an assigned geographic area in collaboration with local branch office and sales and operations professionals. Use sales tools to plan progress, increase business opportunities, and achieve monthly sales targets.
How you will do it
- Identifying and qualifying prospective new customers through a professional process.
- Setting appointments and building a network of referrals.
- Conducting sales calls to understand customer needs and propose solutions with a focus on renewable maintenance agreements and digital services.
- Finalizing proposals and securing commitments from prospects.
- Managing customer relationships, supporting service agreements, and resolving issues.
- Keeping management informed of progress and territory marketing plans.
- Representing the company professionally at trade shows and in the industry.
What we look for
Required:
- 2-3 previous progressive sales roles
- 3 years BAS/HVAC industry experience
Preferred:
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience in selling services and intangibles
- Exposure to sales methodologies and standards
- Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge of Building HVAC Systems
- Post-secondary education
