About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, service requests, and recommending necessary upgrades or repairs to prolong the equipment life cycle of our customer's equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, and site assessments to ensure optimal performance of customer equipment.
  • Service and repair a variety of HVAC equipment, including boilers, MUA, AHU's, infrared gas heaters, RTU's, VFR systems, commercial heat pumps, DOAS Units, CRAC Units, Humidifiers, and Libert Units.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Represent the company as the direct customer contact and be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at the customer's location, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Use cutting-edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand tools and rigging equipment, to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets.
  • Work as part of a team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of service to all customers, which may require flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires.

Requirements

  • Requires HVAC Journeyman status.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers.
  • Adherence to company safety program.
  • Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, natural gas, and electrical.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be on call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
  • Safe and secure driveway location or rented parking spot off the road to accommodate a cargo van.

Preferred Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience.
