Who You'll Work With


We are currently looking for a highly talented Medical Office Administrator to join our growing team of highly dedicated healthcare professionals to work on-site with one of our major clients in London, ON.


This is a contract position for maternity leave coverage. The expected start date will be July 1, 2024 and the contract length will be 12-18 months.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Aways greet patients upon entrance in a timely and friendly matter
  • Giving patients the proper paperwork (new hire medical evaluations, incident reports, respirator evaluations, isocyanate questionnaires, Form 8s) to complete before seeing OHN/ Doctor, ensuring they understand paperwork and it is completed correctly
  • Coordinating with OHN to schedule new patient exams, immunization appointments, fit tests, etc.
  • Making sure patients sign ins are entered into the Infor Database weekly
  • Ensuring proper storage and filing of paperwork into charts
  • Contacting patient when it is close to their anticipated return to work date, explaining to them return to work process, and then scheduling an appointment accordingly
  • Update the MLOA Database to reflect approval or nonapproval of claim
  • Reviewing restriction sheet with patient before they leave appointment
  • Have patient complete an incident report and review the report with them when they enter the medical center with a new injury and are waiting for nurse/ doctor
  • Receive WSIB request for medical information by fax and pull medical information right away
  • Fax requested documents to WSIB as soon as possible

What You Need to Be Successful

Must have 1 year of experience as a Medical Office Administrator in a healthcare setting

Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must act with a high degree of professionalism at all levels

Excellent customer service skills with

  • Exceptional written and verbal skills in English
