Capital Markets Risk Management (CMRM) is responsible for managing the ever-changing and dynamic world of trading and non-trading market risk at TD.

CMRM is accountable for supporting TD Securities and TBSM business objectives in accordance with TD's risk appetite and regulatory expectations.

CMRM provides independent oversight of enterprise-wide market, counterparty, credit, and liquidity risks.

What You'll Do

As Risk Analyst in CMRM, you will have the opportunity to be part of a group that is responsible for activities related to the analysis and monitoring of market risk for the International Fixed Income business.

CMRM is a global business supporting offices in Toronto, Calgary, New York, Singapore, Dublin, and London.

How You Will Contribute

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting risk management and control processes in alignment with enterprise policies, frameworks, and practices.
  • Providing independent oversight, analysis, and reporting of Market Risk.
  • Maintaining a good understanding of the analytical principles underlying the pricing, modelling, and risk management of financial products.
  • Contributing to key initiatives and projects such as technology enhancements, risk methodologies changes, and business or regulatory initiatives.
  • Collaborating with business partners including Front Office, Market Risk Control, Model Development, Technology, Accounting, Audit, and other stakeholders to assist in meeting the Bank's objectives.
Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant disciplines
  • Strong conceptual skills, ability to see the big picture in a complex environment.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, products, and their inherent risks.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, while taking initiative to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills. Collaborative individual who can work well independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to support individuals within the team through crosstraining.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Pursuit or completion of FRM/CFA is an asset.
