We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing market risk across various asset classes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of market risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and report on market risk metrics, including value-at-risk (VaR) and expected shortfall (ES), to inform business decisions and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential market risks, including interest rate, credit, and liquidity risks.
- Develop and maintain risk models and stress testing frameworks to assess market risk exposure.
- Provide risk management guidance and support to business units to ensure effective risk management practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
