Secretary/Administrative Assistant
Secretary/Administrative assistant for a small Edmonton South Side Accounting Firm with a strong focus on corporate clients.

We are looking for a secretary/administrative assistant.

  • Experience in an administrative position;
  • Ability to multitask (i.e. answer telephone enquiries, interact with clients, prepare documents etc.)
  • Positive and energetic personality;
  • Commitment to high standards;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs;
  • Strong organizational skills; and
  • Attention to detail.


Experience in an accounting firm and an ability to use Caseware, Caseview, Simply Accounting and Profile Software would be a definite asset.


The position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including editing of financial statements and correspondence, bookkeeping, filing of corporate tax returns, interacting with Canada Revenue Agency and clients, handling telephone calls, filing, preparing invoices and handling of billings, maintaining the office and handling office supplies.


Our standard office hours are 7 hours per day Monday to Friday from October to April, and 7 hours per day Monday to Thursday from May to September, with the office closed for one week in July and one week in August.


Compensation is commensurate with experience but is expected to be in the range of $ 21 to $ 28 per hour plus an end of April bonus.
