Duties and Responsibilities:
The Deputy Fleet Manager works in the Center of Excellence Airframe within Fleet Management & Planning, reports to the fleet manager and has the following duties:
- Assist in the provision of maintenance control for the fleet on behalf of the company AOC
- Liaise with AMOs' Maintenance Planners to schedule the completion of required Maintenance tasks from 3 months+
- Plan the Aircraft Maintenance and develop the maintenance forecast
- Support the Fleet manager in forecasting the parts and forecasted maintenance requirement for the upcoming Financial Year and to sustain the fleet maintenance plan
- Liaise with vendor and Intermediate level maintenance organisations for completion of rotables maintenance and repairs
- Perform obsolescence management; maintain an Engine program to identify components and parts that will need to be substituted.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the execution and management of aircraft maintenance;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Control of maintenance (adherence to schedules, direction of activities)
- Experience in the entry, retrieval and management of aircraft maintenance records.
- Experienced in the use of automated data retrieval systems and spreadsheets for the management of maintenance activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including full proficiency in Excel

Working Conditions
- Position required Travel to Cold Lake
- Travel to Germany would be required
- One trip per quarter to the vendors is required
