As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in account management, providing top-notch customer support, driving sales and marketing initiatives, and collaborating with all business stakeholders to devise and execute effective strategies and solutions.

In this position, you will gain a deep understanding of the organization's offerings, operations, products, and services necessary to meet customer needs and preferences, taking charge of creating and implementing plans, analyses, and proposals.

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting the company's products and services to prospective and existing clients through various communication channels like phone, email, and digital platforms.

This role involves overseeing the entire sales process from the initial contact to finalizing the deal, with a strong focus on meeting sales targets and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Working closely with other sales team members and departments, the Inside Sales Representative ensures a smooth customer journey and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
    • Regularly check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and spot opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Customer Feedback and Issue Resolution
    • Gather and report customer feedback for product and service enhancements. Address any complaints promptly.
    • Develop detailed account plans focusing on customer needs and growth opportunities.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting
    • Identify and qualify new sales leads using various channels like cold calling and social media.
    • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing activities.
  • Sales Growth
    • Participate in sales proposal development. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Devise strategies to enhance sales within assigned accounts.
  • Sales Pipeline Management
    • Keep the sales pipeline updated using CRM software. Track progress against sales targets.
  • Sales Calls and Communication
    • Conduct outbound sales calls. Respond promptly to inbound inquiries.
    • Provide detailed information and address questions and concerns.
  • Product Presentations and Demos
    • Create and deliver compelling presentations and demos to prospects.
    • Tailor presentations to individual needs and pain points.
  • Market and Product Knowledge
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
    • Keep abreast of the company's products and services.
  • Reporting and Performance Metrics
    • Prepare regular reports on account management and sales activities.
    • Analyze sales data for insights and improvements.
  • Growth and Improvements
    • Support other business development and marketing processes.

Requirements and Skills

  • BSc or BA in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a focus on relationship building.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in market and product research.
  • Proficiency in managing RFP processes.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of business development and sales strategies.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable plans.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Access to a vehicle, a driver's license, and willingness to travel when necessary.
