Office Administrator

About the day to day:
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
- Prepare, process and file agreements and contracts from various agencies
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers or contractors
- Coordinate logistics of meetings, calls, and special events (including arranging venue, catering and audiovisual equipment)
- Prepare travel schedules, book travel arrangements and maintain financial records (i.e. travel expense reports)
- Update company website
- Create and distribute reports for senior management and board of directors as needed
- Oversee office and facilities such as ordering office supplies and equipment and organizing periodic repairs and maintenance
- Establish and maintain electronic and hard copy records
- Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and clients
- Screen and respond to incoming correspondence, inquiries, and phone calls
- Other duties may be assigned as required
About you / qualifications:
- Relevant experience considered an asset
- Postsecondary degree in a related field of study
- Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
- Intermediate knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Salary:
$18.50-$24.96 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
