Job Function Overview


As part of a growing, dynamic manufacturing company we are looking for a professional, experienced, reliable, and task oriented Executive Assistant to support the CEO & President along with other members of the senior management team.

We require someone who is capable of managing work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Executive Assistant
Reporting to the President of Gincor, you will provide administrative support and project coordination.

You should be a self-starter, have great problem solving skills, be proactive, are able to meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.

You can work alone in an office space with little supervision, have a positive attitude and get along well with others.


Ultimately, you will support the senior management team as required with the goal of ensuring projects and tasks are managed efficiently so that the teams goals are met.


Responsibilities:

  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
  • Work well in a team environment and can work in groups or autonomously.
  • Respond promptly to managers' queries
  • Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents
  • Facilitate internal communication (Eg., distribute information and schedule presentations)
  • Prepare internal and external corporate documents
  • Create regular reports and update internal databases
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
  • Coordinate daily calendars of senior managers
  • Arrange corporate events as required
  • Other various administrative duties as may be required

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 510 years of previous experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
  • Is able to maintain discretion and confidentiality and understands the importance of being professional.
  • Strong organizational, project management and with impeccable multitasking abilities
  • Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor
  • Great problemsolving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
  • Work well in a team environment and also alone.
  • Self starter and can complete tasks at hand with little supervision.
  • Solid experience of full MS Office suite, cloud systems with technological savvy to adapt to changing systems
  • Able to converse in English and French, preferred
