Sherwood Co-op is recruiting for the position of full-time
Indian Head Branch Manager located at
Indian Head, Saskatchewan.
This position reports to the Petroleum Manager.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, you will:

  • Demonstrate and promote Sherwood Co-operative's values of _Teamwork, Pride, Service and_ _Excellence_ consistently in attitude and action.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to deliver legendary service to make all guests and employees of our Coop feel "at home here."
  • Provide leadership and direction in the execution of financial results and store budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, and profits.
  • Ensure standards of location and department presentation and operations are met, including cleanliness and sanitation, inventory control, purchasing, and the delivery of worldclass customer service.
  • Provide leadership in the area of employee relations, including hiring, training, development, performance management, discipline, and administration of coop policies.
  • Build and maintain a strong culture of employee and customer engagement within the department.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Management and have:

  • A minimum of three years of retail management experience.
  • Background in Home & Building materials is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a special skill of motivating employees to achieve strong results.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Analytical and organized; committed to producing quality work.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are resultsoriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
