The role of Sales & Marketing Coordinator provides general clerical and administration of the sales and marketing functions. Provide a professional, courteous, and helpful atmosphere. Answer incoming sales calls and route calls to the appropriate person or location. Perform office and clerical tasks as assigned by manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordination of sales projects, which may include: promotions, direct mail, and trade shows.
  • Provides sales support to sales team and managers.
  • May plan sales trips and demonstrations.
  • Preparation of sales presentations, quotations, and customer correspondence.
  • Administration of sales verifications and payments, and calculate sale commissions and rewards.
  • May include order taking and confirmation of sales and perform data entry functions.
  • Maintain digital marketing strategy (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) with the outmost professional standards and within the Aspen Brand Standard.
Attributes and Skills

  • Superb computer skills including advanced skills in MS-Excel and MS-Outlook
  • Comfortable with technology, you can troubleshoot basic user issues
  • Experience in the capital goods industry is an asset
  • High level of confidentiality

Experience and Education

  • 2 years prior sales administration and or marketing administration experience.
  • A postsecondary education is considered an asset. A combination of education and experience is also acceptable for this role. Ideally you possess a certificate in marketing or office administration or have a Commerce Degree. Other educational qualifications will be considered.
Working Conditions

  • The work performed is carried out indoors in a regulated environment
  • Regular fast pace or work with tight deadlines
  • A medium stress environment due to timelines
Shift Availability

  • Monday to Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm
  • Overtime available, ability to work longer hours when needed
