The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Channel Accounts Manager, North America to join our team. As the Channel Accounts Manager, North America, your primary objective will be to drive distributor and reseller sales by effectively partnering and mobilizing the channel partner sales and marketing teams to support the Algo portfolio. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate tactically.
Responsibilities
· Nurture relationships with existing channel partners and identify opportunities for growth.
· Be an Algo product evangelist, execute sales training with channel partner sales and technical teams.
· In partnership with the Sales Manager, conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
· Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and implement joint marketing initiatives with channel partners.
· Provide training and support to channel partner sales and marketing teams on Algo's product offerings.
· Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
· Collaborate with the internal sales team to drive cross selling and upselling opportunities within channel partner accounts.
· Generate and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.
· Support team in project quoting and pricing as needed
· Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Algo's products and services (some travel required, within Canada and US).
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
· 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with channel partners.
· Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
· Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
· Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
· Competence learning new technology and an eagerness to understand new industries and product categories
· Proven experience working cross functionally with different disciplines (i.e. marketing, engineering, accounting)
· Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce experience and asset) and Microsoft Office suite.
· Willingness to travel as required (Canada and US)
