We are looking for an
energetic, technically oriented sales professional to join our global team of experts to grow NAPA Design Solutions business in
North America to the next level.

The position offers a
prime opportunity to support the North American shipbuilding industry with improved efficiency, productivity and competitive edge by introducing NAPA's leading software solutions.

You will be leading the business growth of NAPA's Design Solutions entity in North America by maximizing customer satisfaction and revenue growth.


You will be working closely with our global sales and support teams, as well as with product development and marketing, who are committed to supporting you to succeed in your role.

In this role, you will also be working together with our partners
to deliver innovative integrated digital solutions to the market.


NAPA's proven solutions are widely used in the global ship design, classification, and life-cycle management process by over 400 organizations.

Companies ranging from shipyards to engineering offices, classification societies, shipowners and research institutes are typical end users of our solutions.

Our 3D model based software is at its best in conceptual and basic design phases, where design variations are frequent and flexibility is needed to achieve a competitive design.

We are investing continuously in R&D to address tomorrow's needs of the shipbuilding industry.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of sales strategy for the America territory to secure short and longterm revenue targets.
  • Continuous demonstration of value to customers by developing a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure customer success by coordinating technical support activities and implementation projects
  • Lead contract negotiations, prepare quotations and revenue projections according to the leadtocustomer process.
  • Support, monitor and analyze customers' usage of our product and recommend and report improvements to product management.
  • Cooperate and provide feedback to product management, product development, and services operations to address client needs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ship design or classification preferably in concept design, stability assesment or hull structure design.
  • Strong business sense and experience in working in a commercial environment in maritime industry. Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience and proven track record in sales work, preferably in digital solutions would be ideal.
  • Prior experience in delivering clientfocused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership showing strong accountability, ownership and ability to effectively lead a team in pursuit of shared goals in a selfmanaged organization.
  • We are looking for a selfmotivated, resultsoriented individual who has a passion to learn new things.
  • Experience in CAD/CAE software business is a plus.
  • Relevant education, such as B.Sc or M.Sc. in Naval Architecture or in Engineering.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
This position requires travelling.

The preferred location is
Vancouver, BC, Canada
, where we have a partner office but you can also work flexibly fully remotely within Canada
.

The induction period includes a training period in Helsinki, Finland headquarters**.

For this position,
the employment relationship will be provided by our parent company ClassNK. Relocation support can be negotiated per case.
