We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychologist to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in providing holistic healthcare services to our patients.

You will utilize your expertise to assess, and treat various mental health conditions, with a focus on promoting overall wellness and maintaining a healthy balance.

What you can expect as part of your role:

  • Administer psychological assessments and provide therapy to address patient concerns.
  • Deliver evidencebased, culturally responsive and traumainformed counselling.
  • Educate patients about the principles and benefits of psychology, lifestyle modifications, and selfcare practices to support their treatment plan and healing journey.
  • Collaborate with other providers to incorporate their modalities to coordinate patient care and optimize and integrate treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in creating online content for the website and social media.

What you bring to the team:

  • Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid practitioner licence and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists or an accredited and recognized association and professional liability insurance.
  • Clinical training in evidence based approaches such as CBT, DBT, SBFT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, ERP, Gottman method, etc.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload within a dynamic work setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patientcentered approach to care.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, desire to grow as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, developments, and best practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
  • First aid certification and criminal record check required.
