Position: Store Manager at Sephora
The Store Manager is the leader who oversees client service, people development, sales, productivity, merchandising, operations, and human resources at their store. They are responsible for ensuring adherence to SEPHORA concepts and culture to maximize profitability and compliance with objectives and policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forecast sales and payroll with District Manager to drive store results
- Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to staff members
- Develop strategies to grow business by leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, and services
- Maintain optimum store staffing levels for an exceptional client experience while adhering to budgetary goals
- Conduct inventories and communicate inventory issues to key stakeholders
- Recruit, train, coach, delegate, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors
- Make merchandising decisions to align with SEPHORA concepts
EXPECTED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of management experience in retail/service industry
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel
- High School graduate or equivalent, College degree preferred
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Work in a fragrance filled environment
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Bend and stretch to stock shelves
