Supply Management Analyst

The Opportunity:

If this sounds like you, keep reading As a Supply Management Analyst at Canadian Natural, you will be responsible for supporting the operational activities of Canadian Natural's Conventional and Thermal production.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Create, administer and close out Contracts for Asset Retirement (Well & Pipeline Abandonments, Reclamation and Remediation) Operations including change orders and amendments as required
  • Issue RFx's
  • Establish and maintain auditable files for all contracts to ensure proper documentation is in place and can be referred to if needed
  • Contribute to vendor development and more specifically supplier relationship management programs
  • Analyze and provide marketplace research and data analysis
  • Develop and submit reports and other metrics as and when required, such as spend evaluation and cost comparisons
  • Drive results under tight timelines and track action items, while working with key internal stakeholders

  • Job location: Calgary, Alberta


Shift schedule: 5x
  • Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
  • We are actively recruiting for both permanent and temporary positions on the team
  • Temporary positions are for a period of 12 months

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Typically 2+ years of contract management experience with a university degree or related postsecondary education
  • Desire to pursue or completion of a Supply Chain Management Professional designation is considered an asset
  • Practical experience with contract development, including exposure to negotiating contract terms and conditions
  • Experience with contract management systems and/or JD Edwards
