  • College Diploma in Social Services.
  • Minimum two years working experience in addictions and behavioral counseling.
  • Experience and knowledge of addictions including treatment modalities and pharmacology; mental health services; case management
- including assessment, goal setting, individual and group counseling.

  • Must be able to work in emotionally charged environment at time characterized by high stress.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in community and conflict management.
  • Experience in delivery of psychoeducational sessions and process groups required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
  • Consistent and regular attendance required.
  • Proficient in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset
