QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma in Social Services.
- Minimum two years working experience in addictions and behavioral counseling.
- Experience and knowledge of addictions including treatment modalities and pharmacology; mental health services; case management
- Must be able to work in emotionally charged environment at time characterized by high stress.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability in community and conflict management.
- Experience in delivery of psychoeducational sessions and process groups required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
- Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Proficient in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset
