Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor client activities and provide personal, practical, and moral support.
  • Accurately record daily events and incidents using established methods.
  • Assist clients in accessing clean clothing and laundry services.
  • Coordinate client care related to security issues.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.
  • Perform janitorial duties as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification or willingness to obtain.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • WHMIS Training and Universal Precautions Training.
  • A strong asset: a formal post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as Social Service Work or Mental Health & Addictions.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals in need.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills and Capabilities:

Successful candidates may be required to provide:

  • Background check consent.
  • A clear vulnerable sector screening.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Completion of our online Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.
