Purpose:

  • Lead and oversee the Administration and Customer Support department of Scotia Dealer Advantage in Canada to ensure business strategies are executed in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop a customer-focused culture within the team to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Manage administrative processes, such as reviewing changes to loan terms, conducting verifications, and monitoring unusual items to ensure compliance with department disciplines.
  • Maintain and monitor records to identify and address irregular activities following standard procedures and policies.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support recruitment for team members, evaluating performance, providing feedback, and assisting in recruitment strategies.
  • Understand and consider the Bank's risk appetite and culture in daily activities.
  • Create an environment for effective and efficient operations, ensuring proper business controls to meet obligations regarding operational risk, compliance, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.
  • Build a high-performance environment, implement a people strategy, and foster an inclusive work environment for team development and motivation.
  • Conduct payment collection activities to maintain optimal delinquency ratios by promptly identifying risks and taking action to minimize losses.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • PC skills for operational and service management activities.
  • Thorough knowledge of department routines, procedures, policies, and regulations.

Language Requirement:

The successful candidate must be able to communicate in English & French to serve English-speaking clientele.
