Qualifications and skill requirements

  • Must have a Previous experience in Trucking.
  • Understanding of the trucking industry like import or exports (Container works )
- knowledge of vancouver ports operations.

  • Composure under pressure and ability to make quick, logical decisions
  • Strong organizational skills, time management and multitasking
  • Specific eye to detail, follow up and follow through
  • Team player with ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers in a professional manner
  • Excellent computer skills, must know how to use Ms Excel and Outlook. (better typing speed prefer )

Responsibilities:

  • Connect with multiple companies daily and coordinate distribution of loads throughout the lower mainland
  • Communicate load assignments to drivers and resolve driver issues if any occur
  • Think critically and reassign loads as necessary, based on drop off locations, to accommodate customer requests
  • Work with customers to schedule pickups and deliveries
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationship
  • Monitor driver's locations via phone contact and adjust pickup and delivery appointments if required

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
