Bell is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to support the Investment team in various tasks related to financial analysis, portfolio management, and due diligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, accounting, or a related field, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in due diligence meetings and quarterly updates with asset managers to analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial models using Excel to analyze investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
- Review and analyze investment activity reports from external asset managers, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc portfolio review reports and pitch decks for new investment opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with market research and trends, using Bloomberg and other financial tools to inform investment decisions.
- Collaborate with the Investment team to develop and implement portfolio management strategies.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and portfolio management principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
