We are looking for an Installation Manager to join our team in Ottawa, ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation team and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key metrics for this objective include ontime delivery, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, production, and design teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess project requirements and potential challenges.
  • Develop installation plans and schedules and ensure that they are communicated effectively to the team and all stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion.
  • Communicate project updates and status reports to all stakeholders, including clients and internal teams. Key metrics for this objective include stakeholder satisfaction ratings and successful resolution of stakeholder issues or concerns.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure that all installation expenses are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation reports, change orders, and closeout documents.
  • Ensure that all installation staff adhere to health and safety regulations and policies. Key metrics for this objective include safety incident rates and compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain all installation equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition at all times.
  • Attend Level 10 meetings with the leadership team to provide updates on installation projects and collaborate on business strategy.
  • Act as site supervisor on large job sites and oversee install team.

Performance Objectives:

Project Completion:

The Installation Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all installation projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key metrics for this objective include on-time delivery, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction ratings.

Team Performance:

The Installation Manager will be responsible for managing the installation team and ensuring that they are performing at a high level.

Key metrics for this objective include team productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.

Safety and Compliance:

The Installation Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all installation staff adhere to health and safety regulations and policies.

Key metrics for this objective include safety incident rates and compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

Process Improvement:

The Installation Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of work.

Key metrics for this objective include cost savings, process cycle time reduction, and quality improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

The Installation Manager will be responsible for communicating project updates and status reports to all stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.

Key metrics for this objective include stakeholder satisfaction ratings and successful resolution of stakeholder issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sign industry.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license.
