JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the successful execution of all operations in the hotel Operations departments and overseeing staff. Aims to continuously enhance guest and employee satisfaction and optimize department financial performance. Ensures adherence to standards and procedures, leads a specific team, and contributes to achieving or surpassing property goals.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience


- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
- OR
- 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.

Leading Operations Team


- Ensures team understands goals related to guest tracking and productivity.
- Fosters a property environment promoting motivation, teamwork, continuous improvement, and excellent service.
- Identifies and addresses areas for improvement based on employee and guest satisfaction results.
- Ensures team has necessary skills to meet expectations.
- Leads by example, displaying confidence and enthusiasm.
- Assists employees in exceeding guest expectations.

Managing Property Operations Function(s)


- Implements property-specific second effort and recovery plan.
- Shares guest satisfaction results promptly, including feedback forms and guest letters.
- Proactively handles employee concerns while maintaining professionalism.
- Communicates goals and outcomes with employees regularly.
- Conducts one-to-one meetings with staff biannually.
- Guides team in scheduling based on guest needs and occupancy goals.
- Performs hourly job functions as required.

Managing and Monitoring Activities that Affect the Guest Experience


- Provides exceptional customer service by being accessible to all guests.
- Addresses guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensures team members meet or surpass hospitality standards.
- Responds promptly to customer service requests.

Managing Profitability


- Assists in annual Quality audit with GM & RD.
- Establishes effective key control program.
- Reviews financial statements and performance data to enhance productivity and identify areas for improvement.

Conducting Human Resources Activities


- Conducts interviews and participates in hiring decisions.
- Receives hiring recommendations from supervisors.
- Ensures thorough and timely orientation for new team members.

The salary range for this position is $58,000.00 to $81,000.00 annually.
