We encourage and enable youth to participate in activities that promote positive and active lifestyles, which then contribute to healthy communities.


We are currently seeking a full-time Childcare Facility Manager looking to bring excitement and enthusiasm to the position and be a part of a team dedicated to creating positive experiences for children and youth.


  • Can successfully manage and lead a team of approximately 810 team members.
  • Can maintain and distribute necessary information to team members in an organized manner.
  • Able to coordinate successfully with other team leaders and company managers.
  • Maintains a friendly and outgoing disposition within a childfriendly environment.
  • Computer literate and capable of learning new systems as required by the position.
  • Previous experience with the training and management of a team of 68 team members.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service ability.
  • Must possess Class 5 Driver's License and provide driving record upon request.
  • Early Childhood Educator certification preferred.
  • Must submit to and pass a Criminal Record Check.
  • Must possess Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C qualifications.
As a part of this position, the Childcare Facility Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Appropriately staffing programs and other events through scheduling of team members.
  • Conducting the hiring, training, and assessment of team members in a leadership role.
  • Creating and implementing program activity plans and programs.
  • Appropriately staffing programs and other events through scheduling of team members.
  • Purchasing and maintaining camp equipment, inventory, and materials.
  • Collaborating and corresponding with partner organizations to manage programs.
  • Assisting with creation and distribution of promotional material for programs and events.
  • Receiving and handling correspondence and queries from parents and other external partners.
  • Collaborating with and corresponding with other camp coordinators to manage programs.
  • Ensuring safety and wellbeing of participants throughout camp programs and activities.
  • Completing other tasks as required by the office manager.

Salary:
From $24.50 per hour
